Dr.Teresa Parras (UK) is a Consultant Anaesthetist at St.Georges Hospital, London. Dr.Parras is a regional enthusiast. She has described the PEC's and Serratus plane blocks along with Dr. Rafael Blanco. She is a member of the LSORA and faculty in ESRA workshops and may other international courses

 

Dr Sheelaj Sharma (UK) is the founding President of the British Anaesthesia and Pain academy (BAPA) and has been working towards expanding regional anaesthesia training both nationally and internationally. His main interests are regional anaesthesia and acute pain management in trauma orthopaedics.  He is a regular faculty at workshops organised at the Royal College of Anaesthetists,  AAGBI (Association of Anaesthetists, Great Britain and Ireland) and Pre EuroAnaesthesia Congress.

 

Dr Madan Narayanan (UK) is a consultant in Anaesthesia & Intensive in Frimley Health NHS Trust, UK in 2011. His special interests are regional anaesthesia in intensive care and lung ultrasonography. He is the course director for the very first continuous regional anaesthesia course in the UK, the Frimley Regional Anaesthesia Catheter Course (FRACC). He is also a well-regarded faculty in national and international regional anaesthesia courses. He is also a Co Founder of the British Anaesthesia Pain Academy.

 

Dr Mohammed Khulaif Al Harbi (Saudi Arabia) is the divisional head of Regional anaesthesia and the Chairman of the anaesthesia department in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh. He is Canadian board certified and completed his Regional anaesthesia fellowship in the University of Ottawa, Canada in 2008.He has numerous publications and is an avid teacher with more than 20 national and international presentations.

 

Dr Husni Alakkad (Saudi Arabia) is an Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. After completing his residency training at the University of Toronto, he pursued two fellowships, in Regional Anesthesia and Chronic Pain Management with special interest in ultrasound guided interventions.

 

Dr. Anju Gupta (India)is an assistant professor at Vardhman Mahavir Medical college and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.She has more than 70 publications (national and international journals and books) to her credit. She is also a regular faculty at ACLS, ATLS, AUTLS and various regional anaesthesia workshops (IPSA, C-AURA, ICCES) and has received 5 awards for best paper presentations at various prestigious platforms. Besides, she is also a member of various national and international anaesthesia societies and reviewer for various prestigious journals.

 

Dr Masood Ahmad (UAE) is working as consultant Anaesthetist at Mafraq Hospital Abu Dhabi with special interest in difficult airway management, regional anaesthesia & obstetric anaesthesia. He has been involved in teaching & training in North America, UK & UAE. He has been educational supervisor for London anaesthesia training rotation, Examiner for MBBS for UCL, has been principal investigator of use of local anaesthetic infiltration & oxygen supply with OnQ pump post operatively.

Dr. Paridhi Mehta (UAE)(MD Anaesthesia) is a senior specialist with more than 15 years of clinical & teaching experience. Presently, she is working as an Anesthesiologist in Rashid Hospital & Trauma Centre since last 9 yrs.Dr Paridhi has been an active member of the faculty in teaching programs and hands-on workshops for regional anaesthesia and pain management courses held at Rashid Hospital in collaboration with the University of Montpellier, France.

 

Dr. Iyad Abbas Salman (Iraq)is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Medical city Hospital, Baghdad and Assistant Professor, College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Iyad is the Chairman of scientific council of Anaesthesia and intensive care in Iraqi Board For Medical Specialization.  

 

Dr. Saeeda Haider (Pakistan) is a senior consultant anesthesiologist at The Indus Hospital Karachi, Pakistan.   Dr. Haider has a special interest in regional anesthesia. She has been the Dean Faculty of  Anaesthesia at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

 

 

Dr Abid Rajah (UAE) is an experienced anaesthetist and intensivist. He went to the UK at a very early age where he undertook all his schooling, graduated from a UK Medical school and did the majority of his Anaesthesia training at the prestigious Hammersmith Hospital Group. He held the post of Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in the West Hertfordshire Group of hospitals for over 20 years which he left to come Abu Dhabi two years ago. He is proficient in all types of anaesthesia including Neonatal, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgical, Vascular, Orthopaedics, and all types of complex cases. Dr Rajah has many publications in journals as well as contributing to an international textbook in Anaesthesia. He is currently a Speciality Editor of a British journal.

 

Dr Mohamed Hamarsha (Jordan) is the Head of Anaesthetic Department at Istishari Hospital in Amman.
